We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in business development and client management to join our team. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Giftcellent while driving business growth and nurturing client relationships.

Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations Management

  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and customer service.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient workflow processes to meet customer demands and maximize
    operational efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize productivity and quality standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to identify areas for
    improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Business development

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance strategic partnerships with other stakeholders within the industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to increase sales and market share.
  • Develop niche ideas to distinguish the Company’s offerings in the market.
    Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional strategies, campaigns, and marketing materials to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Client management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and feedback, providing timely and personalized responses.
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and upcoming occasions to offer tailored gifting solutions.
  • Anticipate and address client concerns or issues promptly, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.

Team leadership

  • Manage the team and ensure efficiency, productivity and optimized performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of associates and support staff to achieve operational objectives and sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations management, business development, and client management, preferably in the retail or gifting industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
