Isabel Gakuo

Isabel is a seasoned Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Commissioner for Oaths, bringing over three years of post-qualification experience in employment and commercial law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree (Second Class Honours, Upper Division) from Strathmore University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Isabel has built a strong track record representing clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, including the Employment & Labour Relations Court, Magistrates’ Courts, the Small Claims Court, and alternative dispute resolution forums such as arbitrations and mediations. Her expertise spans advisory and litigation support in disciplinary processes, performance management, termination procedures, and best practices for managing employer–employee relationships.

She is highly skilled in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, commercial agreements, and HR policies, ensuring that organizations remain compliant with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. Isabel also provides strategic counsel on regulatory compliance, data protection, and risk mitigation—always aligning legal guidance with broader business objectives. In addition, she regularly facilitates training sessions on key employment law topics.
